Yamagoe (a.k.a. Reiho--Going Over the Mountain)

This is a koten honkyoku (traditional piece of solo shakuhachi) which expresses the energy one needs to undertake a difficult task such as devoting one's life to their calling. This piece was played on a 2.4 jiari shakuhachi made by Kobayashi Ichijo.
